About me

I combined my love of animals with my passion for writing to create the Stanley Skunk series of books.

Michelle Fremon

In kindergarten, I loved our class guinea pig so much that my teacher let me take squeaky home for the summer. That was the beginning of owning an array of animals over the years, including hamsters, turtles, birds and more.

I spent over a decade as a news writer, editor and spokesperson for various companies in Ohio. By combining my love of animals with my passion for writing, I created the Stanley Skunk series of books. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from The University of Akron and went on to have successful careers in public relations and sales. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, spending time with family, volunteering at local animal shelters and running my own dogs. I am also the race director for our local animal shelter’s 5K race.
